I am an accomplished copywriter, creative director and advertising professional with almost 25 years of experience.  That’s a long time, so here’s the Coles Notes:

 

I started out at as an Account Manager. I hated it but learned a lot. Discovered I could write and had good ideas, so I became a hybrid suit and creative. 

 

Cut to me quitting to pursue a career as a copywriter.  Freelancing until I had a strong enough book to go agency.

 

As a digital first creative professional I have spent my career in traditional advertising agencies, working on some of North America’s biggest brands including Rogers, General Motors, and Walmart.  I’ve also worked on smaller but equally challenging brands.

 

I’ve worked on cars, alcohol, Telco, appliances, fast food, healthcare, banking solutions, delivery services, and beauty products.

 

As Creative Director and copywriter, I have successfully managed creative departments, creative teams, and projects of all sizes – working for some incredibly challenging clients on both digital and traditional campaigns. I have done it all. I understand how UX works and how to read a wireframe. I can shoot cars, ice cream, and I know how to work with celebrity athletes. And I’ve written more banner ads, emails, and social posts than I care to count.
